My story

This precious girl with the soulful eyes is Junebug! She arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 6/26, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. Sweet Junebug is so very scared in the loud, overwhelming shelter environment and really needs a hero to come adopt her. She needs someone who can show her love and kindness so that she can learn to trust again. Junebug does warm up quickly with kind words and gentle pets. She also knows how to sit nicely for treats. If you have a soft spot for the shy kids, please come meet Junebug ASAP. Junebug is approximately 4 years old and weighs 48 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Junebug is waiting patiently in run 49; her ID # is 11440. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
