My story

Meet Jan – the mellow MVP of the squad! Just like her namesake from Bring It On, Jan marches to the beat of her own drum—chill, observant, and always ready to sneak in a little humor and heart. This sweet girl is laid back but loves to play, especially with her siblings and toys. She’s curious about the world around her and isn’t afraid to explore new things, especially if it means belly rubs or treats at the end.Jan has a gentle, affectionate soul and melts into your arms when it’s time to cuddle. Whether she’s quietly watching her squad tumble or getting in on the action herself, she’s always a joy to have around. Like all young pups, Jan will need structure, training, and consistency as she grows to help her become the confident, well-mannered cheer captain she’s meant to be.She and her littermates came to us from a rural property overrun with dogs, rescued as tiny 2-week-old babies covered in fleas and full of parasites. Thanks to bottle feeding and lots of love, Jan is now ready to flip her way into your heart! Jan was born on May 20, 2025, and is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas.All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
