My friends at Wayside say:-I love anything made of cardboard! -I am a social eater-I`m shy at first, but full of love-I have a cute voice-I`m a graduate of Wayside`s TABBY program-I`d prefer to stay by your side or nearby-I love toys, especially toys with long springs-I am affectionate and cuddly once I warm up to you!My home preferences:-I`d prefer to be the only cat in the home-I`ll need extra time to warm up to a new environment-Due to my cleft palate, I need extra small and/or kitten food.Hi, I’m Mary!I’m a sweet 8-year-old tabby girl with a soft heart, a soft voice, and a big love for… cardboard! Yep, give me a box, a scratcher, or anything cardboard and I’m one happy kitty.I’m a shy gal at first, but once I feel safe and comfortable, my affectionate side shines through. I love being close to my people, whether I’m curled up beside you or just quietly keeping you company from a nearby spot. I’m a total cuddlebug when I warm up, and I might even charm you with my very cute little voice.I’m also a proud graduate of the TABBY program (To Achieve Best Behavior Yet), which means I’ve been learning how to build trust and confidence. I love toys, especially ones with long springs I can bat around. I’m a social eater, as well, so I enjoy mealtime with a friend nearby.Because I have a cleft palate, I’ll need to eat extra small kibble or kitten food to help me stay comfy and healthy. I’d also prefer to be the only cat in your home; I love having all the love and attention to myself!If you’ve got a calm, patient home and a warm spot for a sweet, quirky companion, I’d love to meet you.
