Princess

My story

True to her name, Princess is a gentle, loving girl who’s ready to find her happily ever after. With soft eyes, a wiggly body, and the sweetest little tail wags, she’s always happy to meet a new friend. Notes from Princess’s foster family: Princess is an absolute sweetheart! She is so gentle and wants nothing more than attention and cuddles from her humans. She would be content to sit for hours just getting pets. She is crate trained and housebroken. She’ll go on short walks, but her favorite activities seem to be chilling around the house with her humans and taking leisurely naps in her dog bed. Princess gets along well with our resident dog. She is attentive to other dogs passing by but shows no signs of reactivity. She’s not a vocal girl and has never once barked in the time she’s been with us. She understands commands like “sit” and “come”. While she doesn’t show much interest in toys, she’ll do anything for a treat! Some of her favorite treats include hotdogs, jerky, biscuits, and sweet potatoes. When Princess first came to us, she had a bad upper respiratory infection which required multiple courses of antibiotics. She allows all-over handling, has been extremely tolerant in taking pills, and has also allowed us to give her eye drops and clean her ears without any fuss. If you’re looking for a low maintenance snuggle buddy, Princess is the pup for you! She would make a great solo dog or a wonderful sibling to your resident dog(s). We’re told she also lived with children in her previous home, which is easy to believe since she’s so calm and gentle.
