My story

Ethel is an adorable 6-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua mix. She, and several others were rescued from a hoarding home that had caught on fire! Since Ethel did not get much human socialization, she is still nervous with new people. Having a confident dog in the home helps her to come out of her shell. Ethel is very food motivated, and treats are the way to her heart. She does well with other small dogs. However, she has not been tested with large dogs or cats. We do feel young children would be too much for her. Ethel loves going outside, sleeping cozied up to other dogs, and mealtime. She is fine in a crate and on car rides. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm checked, and on flea/tick and heart worm preventatives. We are located in Bloomington, IL We do not ship, you would need to travel to pick up your babies if you live out of state. Your current pets must be up-to-date on core vaccines, spayed/neutered, and on heart worm prevention year round. You must be at least 21-years-old to adopt.
