My story

Meet Gilbert – tiny creamsicle, mighty heart. Don’t let his small size fool you—Gilbert has the strength of a lion and the spirit to match. When he first came to the shelter, he was barely hanging on. Some kind-hearted people found him and tried their best, but Gilbert was skin and bones, battling a severe upper respiratory infection, and fading fast. Thanks to some top-tier vet care (and a whole lot of fight in that little body), Gilbert pulled through—and now? He’s a thriving, zoomie-filled, full-volume kitten with a whole new lease on life. He loves to play, pounce, and cause the good kind of chaos, but his one true love in this world is wet food. Two meals a day are non-negotiable, and he’ll make sure you don’t forget it. He also snacks on dry food between meals, but that canned stuff? That’s romance. Gilbert is fully vetted, full of energy, and ready to bring joy, laughter, and an excellent appetite to his forever home.
