My story

Meet Penny She is a 3 year old, 15lb Yorkie mix. Penny’s story is sad, she lost her mom in the Wheeling flooding, she was temporarily staying with family but was not happy in that household( too active). They reached out to a family friend here in Pa who took her in temporary while trying to find the right rescue to assist in finding her forever home. Penny is shy and scared when first approached and will often give a warning bark/growl, with patience and sweet talk she warms up and will become your shadow. Penny needs a low key home. Once Penny picks you as her person, she will follow you room to room, cuddle in your lap and steal your spot in bed. Penny is anxious and barks when you first leave her but quickly settles down for a nap( camera’s are great). Penny is in a foster home with several other dogs and does well. Did I mention Penny loves car rides! She is potty trained and walks well on a leash. No kids please, they move too fast for her comfort. Interested in this sweet girl?
