My story

Alonzo came in as a very skinny stray. While we don`t know how this 2 -1/2 year old boy got in that condition, it hasn`t stopped him from being a friendly boy. He happily approaches to say hi with tail wags. He`s really good at `Sit` - especially if a yummy treat might be coming his way! Being treat-motivated can be helpful with additional training. Come meet this handsome brindle boy today.Like all our adult dogs, Alonzo will need to meet future canine companions before going home. Our shelter staff will lead their introductions in a safe environment to see if they are compatible. At the main campus, you can bring your dog along when you come for adoptions if you like. Alonzo is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for a loving forever home!His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
