My story

Hi, I’m Tamara. I was in a very crowded shelter outside of Dallas where I didn’t have much of a chance. I’m a shy girl at just 1 year old — I don’t mind attention, but I need a little time to build trust. If you’re looking for a quiet, gentle companion to keep you company, I might be the perfect match. With a bit of patience and kindness, I’ll show you just how much love I have to give. By adopting Tamara, you’re changing more than one life - it’s a ripple.  Adopting frees space and resources for FRAs to take in even more animals who desperately need help.  When you help one, you help many - that's #TheRescueEffect.
