My story

My adoption fee will be waived July 21 - 27 as part of the AMERICA RUNS ON DOGGOS DROOL-ATTA Adoption Event!! Ice Storm is a sweet and sensitive girl whos ready to find a cozy home of her own. Her former foster tells us shes house-trained, sleeps through the night, and settles in nicely when left alone the perfect mix of independent and affectionate! She enjoys long sniffy walks, rolling in the grass, and playing with squeaky toys or a good game of tug. Cheese snacks and pup cups are the way to her heart, and shed love a fenced yard or an adopter who enjoys spending time outside with her. A little shy at first, Ice Storm blossoms into a cuddly, loving companion wholl nudge you for belly rubs and try to curl up in your lap. Shes met children before and has lovely manners with new people come meet this hidden gem! Stop by Northeast Animal Shelter to meet Mushroom. We have open adoption hours Mon- Wed 11:30am-5pm, Thu-Sun 11:30am-6pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets. Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel.
