My story

Cinnamon is the shyest of the three babies. She is still somewhat attached to mama Pancake, but is very sweet and lovable. She allows you to pick her up, but right now is easily scared of loud noises or sudden moves. We feel this is due to being in a new strange place with a lot of people always in and out at the Catfe. She is a beautiful Calico mix little girl and her soft and gentle ways will melt your heart. She does venture out to play and shows interest in toys, but is somewhat more demure than her two siblings. She is also FIV positive, so adopting her with Mama or one of her siblings would be ideal. She can go home alone as long as there is another young kitty in the house, so if you already have an FIV cat who needs a gentle friend, Cinnamon would be purrfect! She can also live with a non FIV kitty, and we can provide you with a lot of info on this and also you can consult your vet. So there are several options for adopting this beautiful, gentle girl. Due to her being the shy one, we are unsure if she`d be ok with a dog, but maybe a chill dog who likes cats. Also, we recommend kids 10 and over or teenagers or just adults, due to her quiet nature. FIV kitties can live a long and normal life with regular vet care. FIV is not contagious to dogs or humans and can only be spread to other cats thru a series of very deep bites, which is not likely with these friendly babies. FIV+ cats need love too! FIV is species specific, meaning only cats can be infected. FIV+ cats can live just as long as non-FIV cats. If introduced properly, FIV and Non-FIV cats can live happy and healthy lives together. The virus is very frail and can only live outside the body for a few seconds, and requires serious physical interaction, like deep bite wounds. Normal social interactions, such as grooming, sharing food and water bowls and litter boxes have no known risk of transmission. Cinnamon Roll~born~4/20/25_____A special adoption fee is offered for FIV+ cats and can give you and the cat years of love and companionship. Please use these links for our:Online Adoption Application: paawarren.org/adopt/adoption-application-formWebsite for details, info: paawarren.orgFIV+ info: paawarren.org/pet-resources/fiv-positive-cats***PAAW’s Cat Café is now open in Farmington Hills!
