Meet Duke—a wise, older gentleman with a gentle soul. Duke is house trained, well-mannered, and absolutely adores human interaction. He’s the perfect companion for a calm, loving home where he can enjoy his golden years with someone special. If you're looking for a loyal friend who’s full of love and life experience, Duke is ready to meet you! 🐶🤎 Visit us and view our adoptable animals today! If you find an animal that you are interested in, all adoptable animals are available on a first come, first served basis once adoption is approved. Applications are not required prior to viewing our animals but must be completed prior to moving forward with an adoption. All of our adoption fees are currently waived! Animals adopted out are vaccinated for rabies and other common diseases, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and have received heartworm and flea prevention while at the shelter. Dogs are tested for heartworm disease and cats for feline leukemia and FIV. All Sumter County residents will receive a free County tag for their new pet! Check our website for hours.
