My story

Renata was found wandering the streets of San Diego with two tiny kittens in tow. It was clear she had once been someone’s pet — she was far too affectionate and gentle to have lived her whole life outside.A kind woman brought the little family to the Humane Society. While they took in the kittens, they told her to release Renata back outside, as they no longer accept stray adult cats for adoption. Not wanting to leave Renata alone without her kittens or a food source, the woman reached out to Smittens Rescue for help.Now safe in foster care, Renata is showing just how sweet and loving she truly is — and she’s barely out of kittenhood herself. She’s ready for a second chance and a home where she’ll be cherished.
