Cherry Mash is a shy and sweet cattle dog mix. She is very healthy, weighs around 50 lbs, and eats and poops very well. The three words best describing her would be shy, smart, and affectionate. She was housetrained in hours and learned to use a doggy door on her own. She loves routines and will sit patiently waiting for her meals and bedtime treats.Growing without human affection, Cherry is timid and does not enjoy being handled. But she likes to be close to people, including house guests. She lets her foster parents pet her, and never fails to greet them at the door. Cherry is a happy girl around other dogs. She smiles a lot and bunny hops around them to invite them to play. She also loves taking naps with her foster siblings. Cherry has not shown interest in cats or children.Cherry Mash's ideal family will have a yard and preferably a doggy door so she can let herself out to potty. Cherry will make the best play buddy to any existing dog(s). In fact, the bigger the pack (including pets and humans), the happier she seems to be. Importantly, we hope to find Cherry a family that understands shy dogs and allows her to open up slowly. Cherry Mash was once a mama and all her pups were adopted. They are all shy and sweet like her and have opened up nicely to their forever families. We strongly believe that with patience and tender love, Cherry Mash will open her heart and love unconditionally just like any other dog. If you are interested in welcoming sweet Cherry Mash into your pack, please send your inquiry to @terrificbroth on Instagram or email foster@souldog.org. And please, help us by spreading the word for Cherry Mash!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cherry mash, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
