My story

Hi! My name is Victor, and I'm a one year old boy kitty with a buff orange tabby and white coat. I have a kind of sad story--I was adopted from the shelter about a year ago, but this lady found me scared and alone behind a local restaurant where someone had dumped me where a bunch of feral cats live. We don't think my owners dumped me, but we haven't heard from them either, so I'm hoping if they don't find me here, that a new family will find me and adopt me. The lady that found me called me 'SOC', which stood for 'Sweet Orange Cat'. The shelter is holding me for awhile to give my family time to find me, so I won't be available to adopt until probably August, but at that point, please come and see me if you want a friendly guy who loves to cuddle and be held and is also very playful!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    July 6, 2025, 8:26 pm
