Mama Rita

My story

Mama Rita and her eight puppies were on the kill list at a high kill CA shelter. We could not let them happen, and were fortunate to find a wonderful last minute foster to take them in. Rita is very sweet and calm. She gives lots of kisses and just wants to be close to her people. Rita does great on a leash and is very food motivated. She knows a few commands (no, come) and iis a quick learner so will pick up more easily. Rita does great will kids of all ages and adults. She has done well with other (large) dogs and is being fostered with a cat. Although she has shown some interest in the cat so might do better in a house without cats.
