My story

Kovu is a 4.5-year-old Labrador mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. He recently lost his person, and while his remaining family cared about him, they weren’t in a position to give him the time and attention he needs. Now, Kovu is looking for a new beginning with someone who can offer him the stability and affection he deserves. He can be a little shy at first, especially in new environments or with unfamiliar faces, but with a little patience and kindness, his sweet, loyal nature quickly shines through. Kovu is a mellow, affectionate companion who enjoys quiet walks, cozy corners, and just being near his people. He’s past the high-energy puppy stage and has lovely manners, making him an easygoing addition to a calm and loving home. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.OPTION TWO: COME INTO THE ADOPTION CENTER AND MEET THEM ALL! The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Thursday & Friday, 4 pm-8 pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.
