My story

Teddy is an 8 month old male Shepherd mix, who is just as sweet as he is handsome. This gentle soul is not quite sure how he ended up in a noisy shelter, but he remains as affectionate and cuddly as his name suggests - like a real-life teddy bear. Teddy is well-mannered and walks beautifully on a leash, making him the perfect partner for strolls around the neighborhood. He is also dog-friendly and enjoys calmly greeting other pups during walks or through the fences of adjacent play yards (of course, a Meet n Greet is always recommended if there are other dogs in the household). With his soft, humble demeanor, Teddy takes treats gently and bows his head sweetly for affection. He is the kind of dog who wins hearts without even trying. Teddy is a precious pup who will make a wonderful companion and playmate, friendly to humans and other canines alike. So come meet him today - Teddy is a truly special pup who is just waiting to find a home as warm and kind as he is. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.July 6, 2025, 11:25 pm
