Meet Opal, a cali-tabby princess with a heart of gold and a motor that never quits! Once a shy little feral fluff, Opal has blossomed into a purr-happy lovebug who adores head scritches and will melt into your hand for pets. She’s a champion toy-fetcher (yes, like a dog!) and will proudly parade her prize—growling and purring at the same time like the fierce little goofball she is. Opal is very food-motivated (read: will work for treats) and just might be the next kitten to learn tricks! She’s hoping to find a forever home with one of her beloved siblings—snuggle buddies are a must. If you’ve got a sunny window, some churus, and room in your heart for a playful, snuggly, sassy girl, Opal’s ready to be your new favorite family member. Opal is a member of the "Outlaw Litter". Their momma, Bugsy, is an extremely savvy feral girl who evaded being trapped for over 2 years. Thanks to a dedicated colony caretaker and IAR volunteers, she was finally caught this summer along with her five kittens: Jessie, Belle Starr, Opal, Bonnie, and Clyde. Bugsy was spayed and released, but her babies have decided they love life indoors and can't wait to find their forever homes!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Opal, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
