My story

Introducing the one and only Kitty con Queso — a spicy little morsel with a heart as bold as her name! This darling girl may be small, but she’s seasoned with courage, resilience, and just the right dash of sass. A true fighter, she bravely battled kitten parvovirus and helped her sister, Meowinara, fight alongside her. Together, they’ve cooked up quite the comeback story.Kitty con Queso is the adventurer of the duo — the first to introduce herself to the resident dogs and big cats, like a tiny tapas dish walking right into a feast and claiming her place at the table. Startle her, and you’ll see her puff up like a soufflé in the oven… but don’t be fooled — this little lady never backs down.She’s discovering the joy of toys, loves a good romp around the room, and adores hanging out with her sister. After a long day of exploring, she’s all about a cozy cuddle session and a well-earned nap in a warm lap. And oh, mamma mia, this girl loves her food! Kitty con Queso never misses “chow time” (a.k.a. mealtime) — she’s always first to the buffet and last to leave.Ideally, Kitty con Queso would love to be adopted with her best friend and partner-in-paws, Meowinara — they’re the perfect pairing, like chips and queso, sushi and wasabi, or gelato on a summer night. But if not, she’ll thrive in a home bursting with love, attention, and plenty of snacks.Ready for a kitten with international flair, endless purrs, and a whole lotta heart? If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
