My story

When you think big, you think of the galaxy and every galaxy needs defenders or rather guardians. Nobody knows that more than the 3.5-month-old beagle mix litter named after some very popular guardians. These pups are not protecting an orb, but they will search far and wide for their love connection. The planets will align, and each litter pup will find all that they have been searching for. Drax is a weight of 7 pounds and will most likely stay a small size dog of anywhere up to 30 pounds when full grown. If there is something to investigate, Drax is first in line. He has a very curious nature and will follow his curiosity even if it would be better if he refrained. Maybe he is a cousin of curious George. Drax is a delight on many levels, and he does well with other dogs, children and even cats. Puppy energy mixed with a sense of adventure will keep his owner on their toes. Enjoy lots of fun explorations together inside or out, then take some quality nap time and enjoy the snuggles. Drax will not mind at all. His crate, leash and house training are all in progress. He will benefit from the assistance of his family to provide all that he needs to be a success at each skill. He promises to put his best paw forward. As with all puppies, Drax is full of curiosity and wonderment and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to an amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. He will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize him so that he can become the perfect lifelong companion. This little guardian wants nothing more than a family to call his own. A forever family that will be loving and supportive to him so he can write the next chapter in his life book. No need to guard your heart from Drax, you had him from hello. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Drax is $600. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.July 14, 2025, 7:06 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Drax, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
