My story

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION... TAVISTOCK is currently in foster care in Houston, The adoption fee includes the transport by Mighty Mutt Shipping if interested there is an application on our website houstonshaggydogrescue.org Little Tavistock was born approx April 15 2025.. he currently weighs 7 lbs as of July 2025, and should be in the 20-25 lbs + range when fully grown, His mom is a mixed breed terrier, a really pretty dog, named London, she is also listed for adoption, she is a mixture of 21 different breeds per her Dna.. Tavistock is also a Heinz 57 we have no idea of his breed mix, he has 4 siblings , all are pretty and do not look alike.. he is a very sweet boy, he has a very soft coat , just a typical puppy, loves to run and play with his siblings, loves toys, he is not house trained and will need leash/harness training., we require that he have a playmate/companion. another dog that's fairly young and not too big.., There is an application on our website houstonshaggydogrescue.org THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS, OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only and no children under that age of 10 years for our puppies. The total adoption fee of $600 ( and includes the required spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip., the interstate health certificate and transport. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at houstonshaggydogrescue.org
