My story

Currently being fostered in Baltimore, MD Meet Wolfie – A Dashing Young Gentleman with a Heart of Gold Sleek, sweet, and full of heart, Wolfie is a 1-year-old, 50-pound pup who’s learning how wonderful life can be. He may have been a little overwhelmed stepping off the transport van, but by the time he settled in for his car ride home, his tail was already wagging. This handsome black and tan boy is affectionate, well-mannered, and blossoming into a truly fantastic companion. Personality Wolfie is a happy, curious, and affectionate boy. He may need a moment to take in new surroundings, but he warms up quickly and wants to be where the fun is. He entertains himself with toys - tossing them and pouncing like a pro - and is a true gentleman in the house. He loves people and is eager to connect with canine friends too. Energy Level Wolfie has a lovely balanced energy. He adores romping around the yard and going for walks, but he also settles easily and enjoys a good nap. After his outdoor adventures, he’s happy to curl up and rest. He’s the perfect blend of playful and chill. Skills and Training - Crate trained – sleeps quietly through the night and re-enters his crate calmly when needed - House trained – no accidents so far, and shelter notes agree - Leash trained – enjoys his walks and prances happily, ears bouncing with joy - Bathing & Grooming – not his favorite activity, but he waits patiently and tolerates it well - Toy Skills – professional tennis ball chaser and nylabone enthusiast - Smart & Focused – enjoys snuffle mats and gentle enrichment Companionship Wolfie seems to be people and dog friendly, and he’s already had positive experiences walking alongside another dog. He would thrive in a home that offers both companionship and space to explore, whether with a friendly resident dog or as a beloved solo pup. Love and Affection This boy is made for cuddles, companionship, and quiet evenings. His sweet nature, joyful trot, and soft heart make him a dream companion. He’s polite, gentle, and eager to bond deeply with his new family as he grows into the best version of himself.
