My story

EDA, and her bestie, BERNARD are an inseparable bonded pair. They are the ultimate cuddle team, where BERNARD brings the zen and EDA adds a touch of playfulness. Please see BERNARD's ad for more about him. EDA is a confident, curious girl who will roll over to show you her belly. She is full of playful charm, and also loves to be held. EDA is up to date on all shots, spayed, and litter box trained. She has also tested negative FIV/FelV. eDOB 6/9/2024 SCHEDULE A VISIT - Please drop us a note telling us a little about your household, your reasons for looking to adopt, and what you are looking for in a pet. Include your availability and we'll get back to you! OUR EMAIL: - animalsindistressnj@gmail.com APPLICATIONS: - To submit an application directly, go to: animals-in-distress.org/adoptions ADOPTION PROCESS & FEES - You must be 21 years or older to adopt. - There is an application & approval process. - Once approved, the adoption fee is $150 per pet. ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: - Testing for FeLV & FIV - Vaccinations (FVRCP/Distemper & Rabies) - Spay or neuter of the cat - Microchipping If the animal you are interested in is part of a bonded pair, please only submit an application if you are considering adopting both. Only homes within a driving distance of 45 minutes or less will be considered for kittens under 6 months of age. We reserve the right to deny any application and our adoptions are NOT on a first come - first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals in our care.
