My story

Meet Evelyn, a real southern belle. Born in SC and raised in NC, she exudes Siamese southern lady charm. She is grace and charm personified. She is always elegant with her grey gloves and hat on her head – true marks of her Siamese heritage. Evelyn’s rough start displays her southern Steel Magnolia courage and strength. Born in SC and abandoned as a kitten, she survived and found her way to a “rescuer” who decided that her conversational style was too much to handle and threatened to toss her out on a farm for wild animals to eat her. A quick freedom ride by a Mia’s Mafia volunteer brought Evelyn to NC and her new life. Evelyn shows her grace and sweet demeanor in everything she does. She gives head bonks and nose boops away like candy to any and all that will accept her southern hospitality. She is a professional level southern style biscuit maker – slap your momma good biscuits. As a modern southern belle, Evelyn is also not afraid to let her hair down and have some fun. She loves a good spring or mouse mouse toy. Running and playing with her kitty foster siblings is her favorite game. As a true Siamese, she expects a few small things in return. She wants her new family to allow lap sits, kitty pets and kitty treats. Snuggles and night-time bed privileges are a must. Foster Notes: Evelyn absolutely loves her foster cat buddies and her dog foster brother. However, Evelyn is generally cautious and slow to allow new cats, etc. into her circle of friends. She will require a minimum of a one-month adjustment period to allow her to take her time trusting other furry family members. She might not need this time, however, if this is not something you feel comfortable with, please do not adopt Evelyn. Adopter MUST agree to slow introductions and a one month get to know her new furry family. We want her to feel safe and succeed in her new furrever home.
