My story

Hi there, I’m Ellie—a sweet, calm, and snuggly little pup who’s just waiting to find my forever family! I’ve been with my foster family for a few weeks now, and they say I’m the perfect family dog. I’m gentle, affectionate, and love being near my humans. I’m great with kids and other dogs, but I’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all the love in a home where I’m the only pup.I’m still young and learning, but I’ve already made so much progress! I’m doing great with potty training—just need regular breaks outside—and I’m crate trained too. I actually like my crate and think of it as my little safe space. Once I trust you, I’ll want to be able to see you while I’m in it, just so I know you’re nearby.I walk nicely on a leash, ride well in the car, and stay calm and collected in new places and situations. I can be a bit shy at first, but I warm up quickly to new people and pups. I’ve been around kids from preschool to pre-teens and I’ve been nothing but sweet, friendly, and gentle.I’m a smart cookie and already learning commands like “sit,” “down,” “off,” “gentle,” and “go potty.” I take treats politely, don’t tear up toys, and don’t show signs of separation anxiety. Honestly? I just want to be close, loved, and part of the family.With my soft personality and unique, beautiful markings, I tend to steal hearts wherever I go.
