My story

Name: Gracie Age: 10 years Breed: rat terrier Gender: female Weight: 10 lbs Good with kids: yes Good with dogs: with most small dogs- but would do best as only dog Good with cats: no Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork.   Hey folks, here’s whats been going on with me! I’ve been kinda itchy, and slightly b*tchy, LOL. Let me explain.  I came into the rescue with a few hairless spots, which are looking much better. However, I had an open area on my tail stub. While it closed up- its been nibbled as it was irritated. Foster mom has been treating me with some medicated wipes. The vet also started me on apoquel. I have been nibbling at my toes, and wearing a donut to ensure my booty heals properly. All in all, life is still good I’ve lost a little weight now that I eat dog food- but it must be the wet variety. Kibble be damned! Now- onto the &#239&#184&#143&#239&#184&#143&#239&#184&#143 You’ll hear the rescue talk about decompression often.  While I joined my foster home as the goodest girl, I got comfortable after awhile.  I am still a top notch doggo, and am fostered with many others- but ideally I could go back to being someone’s one and only like I was my entire life before being surrendered.    For whatever reason, both in my foster home and at a temp foster’s I have chosen one dog out of a large group I am DETERMINED to befriend. Should they avoid my “advances”, I become more insistent. I will invade their space. So dogs in my forever home should not be bossy, because in all honesty I’m kind of bossy.  If a dog I fixate on doesn’t wanna be friends and they get scrappy- its on!  Thats no way for any of us to live, so please- if you’re considering applying take your resident dog’s temperament into consideration, as well as mine. To be frank- I don’t want to live with big dogs, and puppies are annoying as Cats are also a no go for me, sorry. My final demand is that you let me sleep in your bed. I did so my whole life with my previous owner, and I am a cuddle bug. I promise to love hard, be good in the car, and keep you laughing. I have the cutest little grunts, and will nibble your nose lovingly if we are being silly! Hoping to be yours, Gracie   Foster location: Green Bay Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption. Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue.
