My story

Meet Petunia! This sweet little 1-year-old Corgi mix is as charming as her name. Weighing in at just 17 lbs, Petunia is the perfect size for couch cuddles and outdoor adventures.Petunia is still very much a playful pup — she loves to chew on toys, romp around with other dogs, and follow her humans wherever they go. She has a submissive, cuddly personality and absolutely adores children (babies included!). She can be a little mouthy when she gets excited, but she`s a quick learner and easily redirected.She’s great with playful dogs and is currently learning her social boundaries. While she hasn’t been tested with cats yet, her trainable nature makes her a promising candidate with proper introductions.Petunia is still working on house training but is making progress, especially since she settles nicely in her crate at night with minimal fuss. She’s also very food motivated, which makes training much easier. Petunia walks well on a leash and would love to be your walking buddy by day and snuggle bug by night.If you`re looking for a loyal, loving “Velcro dog” who will make you laugh, keep you company, and be your adventure partner, Petunia might just be your perfect match.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt.
