My story

Misty is a beautiful gray tabby with big, curious eyes and an even bigger heart. Still barely more than a kitten herself at 14 months old, Misty was living on the streets when she found herself pregnant. Despite her rough start, she’s been a devoted, loving mama to her three babies—Stormy, Cloud, and Smudge—and now it’s her turn to be cared for and cherished. This beautiful girl is incredibly affectionate with people. She adores getting pets, seeks out attention, and has a calm, soulful presence that makes her feel like an old friend. But don’t let her gentle nature fool you—she also has a playful streak! This active gal still romps around the house with her kittens, chasing toys and joining in the fun like one of the crew. She shares a special bond with her son, Cloud, and the two would love to be adopted together. Their relationship is sweet and comforting—Cloud looks to Misty for reassurance, and Misty clearly enjoys mothering him a little longer. Misty also has perfect litterbox habits! Misty lives with her babies in a home with other resident cats and a dog. Since she was nursing, I did not let her mix much with my resident animals. She has shown curiosity about getting to know my cats as she has started to wean the kittens. If you’re looking for a loving, people-oriented cat who’s outgrown the chaos of kittenhood but still enjoys playtime, Misty is the perfect companion. She’s ready to trade her street survival days for sunny windowsills, cozy laps, and a family to call her own. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.
