My story

Freya is a sweet and playful 3-month-old kitten who’s ready to find her forever home! She was rescued as a stray from a parking lot in the Tampa Bay area, but you’d never guess she had a rough start. She’s incredibly affectionate and loves everyone she meets. This little love bug is dog-, cat-, and kid-approved, making her the perfect addition to just about any household. Freya adores attention and will happily snuggle in your lap or chase toys all day long. Freya tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) on her initial screening. However, young kittens can sometimes receive a false positive result due to maternal antibodies still present in their system. For this reason, she will be retested in a few months to confirm her status. Even if Freya is truly FIV positive, she can still live a long, healthy, and happy life with regular vet care and a safe indoor environment. FIV is not easily transmitted and many cats with FIV live normal lives with other cats.
