My story

    Jewel is ready to travel to the northeast on Saturday, July 19 Age: five  months  Weight: 28 pounds  Adoption donation: $750  Jewel  and her sisters, Diamond, Pearl, Sapphire, Opal and brothers Jasper and Topaz, are adorable puppies whose mom is a poodle mix and dad a lab. Their owners in rural Mississippi couldn't care for them and Wags stepped in to help. The six girls and two boys are having a blast at the rescue romping and playing and cuddling in a big puppy pile to nap. The puppies have been vaccinated and Jewel is spayed.    Like any puppy, Jewel  needs a family dedicated to giving her the love and training she needs to grow up to be the very good girl we know she can be.    Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. We do have some of our dogs in foster homes in the northeast, we always need foster homes!
