My story

Meet Aldora! We usually just call her Dora. Born February 2025 I was rescued with my siblings by Valley Dogs Rescue. Now I’m enjoying life in my foster home—learning, playing, and soaking up all the love! I’m about 25 pounds right now and expected to be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. I’m a smart and curious girl who’s already learning “sit” and “stay,” and I’ve figured out how to use the doggie door. I love to play, explore, and cuddle with my people. This sweet and spunky Lab/Staffie mix lives up to her name—full of personality, potential, and puppy joy! (75% lab, 25% Staffie) Eldora is being fostered with her half brother Happy. Same dad (100% lab, different moms). Eldora and Happy are loving playing with our 7 year old daughter, 18 year old special needs son and a 80 pound German Shepherd and 50 pound Chow. Yes, that is 4 dogs and 2 kids, we might be a little crazy. Happy and Eldora can be adopted as a pair or on their own. They both are very social dogs so we are confident they will be fine being the only dog in a home or one a younger sibling. Eldora is a quick learner who already knows how to sit and use the doggy door. Dora is super food motivated and that really helped her learn how to use the doggie door and how to crate up when her foster mom leaves the house. Her days are a fun mix of backyard and house zoomies, playful wrestling with her doggy foster siblings, and curling up for cuddle time with her humans. They sleep in the crate and spend some time during the day in there when we leave the house. Aldora usually gets into bed with my 7 year old daughter and sleeps with her until I carry her to her kennel when adults go to bed. She loves the company of other dogs and loves walks, playing with toys and playing fetch. Eldora would thrive with a family ready to continue her training and help her grow into the amazing dog she is meant to be. Super duper cuddly! Dora has already come really far as a puppy and has great manners considering her age. She is the easiest out of the two puppies we are fostering. She is also very submissive to all bigger older dogs she meets and rolls onto her back to submit during play or when meeting new dogs often. She isn't being fostered with cats, but due to his age, I imagine she would adjust just fine with cats in the home. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving pup to grow with you—look no further. If interested PLEASE EMAIL brittanyladrech@yahoo.com. Located in Arizona | Dog-friendly | Puppy | Ready for a forever home
