My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ali is available for adoption!  This gorgeous pup is a German Shepherd, 4 months old and about 35 pounds!  Ali and her brother Slate came to us from Texas, where they were born into rescue.   Ali is absolutely beautiful! She is smart and embodies the typical traits of a German Shepherd: loyal, curious, and affectionate. Like all puppies, she is playful, energetic, and full of mischief! It is essential that she receives training from the start to ensure she grows into a well-behaved adult dog. German Shepherds are working dogs that require both mental and physical stimulation so keeping her engaged is important. Ali is very well crate-trained and will let you know in the morning when it's time to get up! We have begun introducing her to the leash, although she is not yet trained to potty on it. She is doing remarkably well with house training, having very few accidents. Ali has a fully fenced yard, which greatly helps with training and allows her to romp and play! She loves being outside and would stay out all day if she could! Ali is food motivated, which is beneficial for her basic training. Please remember that, although she is large, she is still just a puppy, and the responsibility for training her lies with you. It requires time, love, and a lot of patience! She can be a little stubborn, but she is curious and will follow the lead of another dog as well. Ali gets along well with dogs of all sizes and submissively interacts with smaller ones as she should. There are no issues with cats either. Ali loves toys and chewies! Always ready for an adventure, she’s the first to dive into new experiences, whether they turn out to be good or bad. Recently, she has been getting braver about the kiddie pool and is even learning to put her mouth underwater to grab her favorite toys and chewies. And did we mention she loves to take naps on her back? She's such a beautiful girl and will make an amazing companion for all the fun summer adventures that lie ahead! We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security. Ali is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated.   Her adoption fee is $550Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 7, 2025, 7:30 am
