My story

Jasper is a 6–8-month-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix with a sweet, spunky personality and plenty of puppy energy to spare! Weighing in at just 12 lbs, this playful pup loves zooming around with other dogs and soaking up affection from his humans—expect plenty of kisses and gentle paw taps for attention. Jasper came from a hoarding situation and is learning what it means to be truly loved. He's still a bit shy around strangers and may bark or hide when nervous, but once he warms up, his affectionate and cuddly side shines through. He’s working on potty training and basic commands, so he'll need a patient adopter committed to helping him grow. Jasper is crate-comfortable (though he may whimper when left alone at first) and sleeps soundly through the night, either in his crate or snuggled up in bed with his foster’s dogs. He enjoys leash walks and is responsive when called, making outdoor time a great way to burn off his energy. Jasper would thrive in a home where he gets daily exercise—whether it’s playtime with a furry sibling or regular walks. He’ll be ready to join his forever home after July 25, fully vetted, fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Ready to give Jasper the love he missed out on and the fun-filled life he deserves?
