My story

This big, beautiful girl is Sky! She was surrendered to the shelter on 7/8 by a friendly finder who had been trying to find Sky's owner for the past 2 months. They had no luck, and Sky kept running away from the finder's house so they decided to bring her to the shelter. They did tell us that Sky is good with children and dog friendly. The volunteers describe Sky as friendly and easy going. Sky will do best with a family who will spend time with her, and can provide her with a fenced in yard where she can run, play, and explore! Sky is approximately 2 years old and weighs 85 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, has been microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed upon adoption. Please come meet Sky in run 877; her ID # is 11762. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
