My story

Meet Fiona This little ball of energy is Fiona. She was estimated to be about 3 years old but may be younger. She weighs about 27lbs. She recently had her DNA tested and as you can see she is a little bit of everything. Fiona takes a little bit to warm up to people, but once she gets to know you she is quite a little love bug. She gets along well with other dogs who are her size or larger, not sure how she would do with small dogs or cats. Like with people, she takes a little bit to warm up to other dogs. She crates well in her kennel at night and during the day when we are away from home. She is very smart and will paw at the door when she needs to go outside. Fiona also loves to be outside. She loves to run and play with her foster siblings. She likes to destuff stuffies any chance she gets. Fiona would definitely benefit from some obedience training. Positive reinforcements, aka tasty treats, work well for her learning. Fiona will be adopted with one year supply of SimpericaTrio, which is our protocol for treating dogs who are light heartworm positive but are free from microfilaria. No confinement is necessary and Fiona is free to do whatever activities you choose.
