My story

Quasi the pug mix just might be your dream dog. This little cutie is sweet, well behaved and loves to sit in your lap. Yes Quasi will rub against your leg, eager to be picked up for a cuddle and a head scratch. But if you're busy, Quasi is happy to play with other pups or snooze in his dog bed. Of course wherever Quasi is, you'll always know what he's thinking. He's quiet but has a wrinkly, short-muzzled face that's super expressive and also super typical of pugs. Quasi also has some of the pug's best character traits, including his charm and gentleness. He would do well in a home with children and seems to be okay with cats. Yes, this is a confident, intelligent dog . He's both a joy to be around and easy to care for. Want more? Well, Quasi is house trained and, when taken outside, does his business quickly. Quasi is also chill in a crate and walks well on a leash. He even comes when called and sits for treats. Conveniently, Quasi isn't a picky eater, although he admits to a soft spot for, say, chicken jerky. Of course no pet is perfect. Pugs as a breed overheat more easily than most dogs. So it's good to be careful with Quasi when San Antonio's temperatures rise. Also Quasi is currently being treated for heartworm. This is a 100% curable condition. Take comfort in knowing that, if you adopt Quasi, all his future heartworm treatments will continue to be carried out and paid for by Footbridge.
