Jackson from the East Side

My story

7/10 update from foster: "Jackson is such a great dog. He has the sweetest temperament and loves everyone and just wants everyone to love him. He is a big boy but still thinks he’s a lap dog!  He is great at learning basic commands and picks up things quickly. He is great with kids, although he’s not quite aware of his size yet, so he can be a bit overwhelming at first. He is also good with cats and doesn’t chase or harass them." Jackson and siblings were witnessed being dumbed on the side of the road on the East side of San Antonio, Texas. Luckily the witness rescued them and got them safely to us. They look forward to getting out of the heat and into the mountains! Jackson is very much a people dog. He prefers to be with a human, especially in their lap! He can be very adventurous but will often look back to make sure his human is still there. He loves to play and cuddle. Jackson is very sweet with kids and other dogs but takes a while to warm up to bigger dogs.  Mum appears to be a Shepherd mix and is pictured last. Jackson is being fostered in San Antonio, Texas, and waiting for a committed adopter or foster to bring him up out of the Texas summer heat to our cooler, more agreeable Colorado climate. ##2383836##
