My story

Cara was abandoned along with her kittens in an unsafe location where they may not have been seen until it was too late. During her physical exam, a mass was felt near her abdomen. It was soon discovered that one of her kidneys was not functional and removed. She is doing well and according to her veterinarian, there is no reason to expect future complications. Cara can be expected to live a full life in a home that will prioritize her preventative health with yearly blood work during her annual physicals. Your application will be processed and a volunteer adoption counselor will call or email with any questions. ** NOTE: If any questions are left unanswered or incomplete, the application cannot be processed. A completely filled out application will take 1-3 days to process! Missing or inaccurate answers may invalidate the application. 4. We will set up a time with you to meet the animal you've applied to adopt! ** NOTE: Our volunteers strive to make the best possible match once the application is accepted. Our goal is a fit that benefits both the cat and the home! ** We DO give preference to applicants with verifiable pet experience. All cats are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV negative unless otherwise indicated. All cats are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. All of our resident cats use their litter boxes unless otherwise indicated. Cats are naturally inclined to use a litter box. Cat Fact: If a domestic cat is not using a litter box THEY ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING IS WRONG! It should never be ignored! Your cat is depending on you for help. Our adoption fee for felines is $100. That covers the cost of spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV test, deworming, flea prevention (if applicable) and vaccinations (if applicable). We look forward to meeting you!
