Meet Rocky! He is a favorite of all of he shelter volunteers. Rocky was reported as in distress by a resident who saw that he'd been trapped under a fence. It took a call to the firehouse to have him cut out and freed. The firemen called animal control officers to pick him up, reporting that he may not make it. Our animal control officers contacted Pound Pals Downriver for assistance. He was declared in a bit of shock, but otherwise physically ok. Someone was definitely watching over this sweet boy that day, And now Rocky is looking for a home to cherish him. Be sure to check out our Facebook page for daily updates!! All cats are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV negative unless otherwise indicated. All cats are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. All of our resident cats use their litter boxes unless otherwise indicated. Cats are naturally inclined to use a litter box. Our adoption fee for felines is $100. That covers the cost of spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV test, deworming, flea prevention (if applicable) and vaccinations (if applicable). We look forward to meeting you!
