Jolene

My story

Jolene is a 17-week-old, extra-small German Shepherd pup that weighs in at a whopping 16 pounds! We rescued her after she was found in a dumpster with her two littermates. She was the most emaciated dog we have ever encountered. At 8 weeks old, she weighed less than 2lbs. Despite her tough start, Jolene is full of life and the happiest, most outgoing pup you’ll ever meet. She loves people, dogs, cats, and water! She was born with a mild case of hydrocephalus, which causes fluid on the brain. This will not affect her quality of life. Handover Rover will be covering all related medical costs. When she is 6 months old, we will be getting her an MRI with our neurologist to use as a precautionary baseline, but she is ready to go now! Her perfect home would include a family that wants a dog they can bring everywhere! Jolene is super social and loves everyone she meets. She would make a fantastic lake buddy!
