My story

Experienced medical adopter or sanctuary cat foster needed within 30 minutes of Hartford, CT or Agawam, MA  or willing to travel   This is Moolinda, a stunning 3-year-old black-and-white “cow cat” with mesmerizing green eyes and a heart full of love!  This affectionate sweetheart thrives as the sole pet in a calm, quiet home where she can shower her humans with gentle head-butts, and soothing purrs. She adores treats, sunbathing, and playful feather-chasing sessions.  Moolinda is inquisitive with a slightly mischievous streak that is sure to delight, and ready to fill your days with moo-nochrome charm. She’s ideal for an anyone seeking a loyal shadow to follow them around.  Ready to let her steal your heart? Moolinda is perfection when she’s the queen of her castle but she needs extra care. She has a heart murmur, mitral valve dysplasia with mild to moderate mitral regurgitation. This means she has obstruction in the outflow of the blood coming from her heart. Stress will make her condition worse so she needs a stable and quiet home.  Her condition  is being treated with a daily medication she takes easily in food. Moolinda will need to be seen by a cardiologist twice a year for an echocardiogram, lab work and heartrate check. This sweet and spunky girl was rescued from the streets of Hartford, where she was found with an old injury to her leg. We later found out she has torn ligaments! She's on meds twice daily for that moves and plays as if she didn't have an old injury.  Foster home would need to be long term or “life long.” Rescue provides food, supplies and medical care.
