My story

Meet Stormy! A sweet twelve-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently living in Newark, CA, whose essence is a calm river of affection wrapped in her gorgeous dilute tortoiseshell coat. Stormy is the kind of feline who turns every ordinary evening into a peaceful moment of connection. She might not want to be picked up or held like a plush toy, but her love is unmistakable. She will greet you at the door with the grace of a queen welcoming her beloved companion home, then weave around your legs with gentle nudges and soft mews, insisting on a petting session before you even set down your keys. Once you settle on the couch, she will curl up by your side, content to nap while feeling your comforting presence nearby. She has a few quirks that only add to her charm. For instance, if you are a little too slow with those well-earned scratches and chin rubs, she will gently lick your arm as a polite but persistent reminder of your duties. Her playful streak shines through when she spots an unsuspecting bug – whether she plays with it or eats it is her own mysterious decision! Stormy also enjoys watching the world go by from the window sill, imagining grand bird-chasing adventures from her indoor kingdom. Stormy is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She’s lived alongside another cat before and, though they weren’t best friends, she coexisted peacefully, with an occasional hiss to maintain personal space. Stormy thrives in a calm environment with a guardian who is home often to shower her with love. She will happily follow you around the house, supervising every human activity with her wise, golden eyes.
