My story

My name is Flo and I’m a hound/shepherd/retriever mix. I’m about 8 years old. My first family had me for 7 years before having a baby and felt that they couldn’t care for me anymore. I’m super cuddly, clingy, and would spend all day in bed with you if you let me. I have low to moderate energy, spending most of the day napping on the couch. However, I can really enjoy some play time with toys inside. Being outside in the backyard isn’t my favorite, but I’ll gladly go on a walk with you!! I do great on a leash, love greeting other dogs, and am friendly with children. I currently live with another dog, and two cats, who I get along well with. I do have some food allergies that can cause me to get ear infections and hot spots if I eat the wrong things. I’ve been doing really well eating only my dry dog food, but that doesn’t stop me from trying to steal any tasty treats I can find if I don’t see anyone looking. I might be a little older, but I have a huge, goofy personality, I even smile at you! I have a ton of love to give, and would love to be an affectionate addition to your home! Flo is spayed, potty trained, up to date on all vaccines, and has a clean bill of health. She would do best in a home with another dog or cat to keep her company and play with her.
