My story

News flash - Ladybug found her forever home! Ladybug is a 9 month old Terrier mix, weighing 23 lbs. We sent in her DNA test but we know she is 100% sweet pup! Ladybug was pulled from the overcrowded Lorain County Kennel when our friends that volunteer there let us know she was not recovering from kennel cough. We took her to ALAC and x-rays showed she had pneumonia, in addition to being under weight and lacking good nutrition. It appears this sweet dog spent a lot of time in a crate based on the lack of muscle tone in her legs. The good news is...once she recovered from pneumonia, she went to a fantastic foster/train and she is like a different dog now! Ladybug is almost house-trained, she is starting to go to the door when she needs to go out! She loves all size dogs, but would do best with a lower energy dog companion. She immediately loves every person she meets! We do not know if she is good with cats, but probably would be fine with proper introduction. We don't think she will get much bigger - just filling out and getting stronger ;-). Ladybug is scheduled for spay on 7/16/25 and will be ready for her forever home.
