My story

This is Gracie, she is as sweet as they come! Gracie is a pit bull mix approx 3 years old/ 50lbs. She’s the ultimate cuddle bug, always ready for belly rubs and cozy evening snuggles. She loves toys—whether it’s squeaky, crinkly, or tug ropes, she’ll happily play when the mood strikes. Gracie loves her crate, is fully potty-trained, and uses a doggie door with ease. She knows basic commands and does well on a leash and loves to play fetch. Gracie is remarkably well-socialized and gets along beautifully in a multi-species household. She doesn’t mind sharing space with cats, chickens, other dogs, small and large, including a blind puppy. Gracie is a people pleaser, always wanting to be in the presence of others. Her respectful demeanor makes her a great companion for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and needs. She also absolutely adores kids and is great around toddlers. Gracie has a special soft spot for men and bonds easily, offering endless affection and loyalty. Her well-mannered behavior, loving personality, and eagerness to give kisses (sometimes too many!) make her a joy to be around. She thinks she’s a small lap dog and will do her best to prove it. With her loyal spirit, playful energy, and affectionate nature, Gracie is the kind of well-rounded companion any family would be lucky to have her. Applications at bigloverescue.org.
