My story

Meet Cruz – The Gentle Giant! 🐾 Cruz is a lovable meathead with a heart of gold. He lives for walks and absolutely adores playing with his doggie friends! For a big boy, Cruz is surprisingly gentle with smaller dogs—he’s calm, tolerant, and non-reactive, even when the little ones get a bit feisty. He already knows how to sit, and he’s obsessed with bones, belly rubs, and giving kisses. After a fun day of play, Cruz turns into the ultimate couch potato, happily snoozing the day away at your feet. Despite his big, serious appearance, Cruz is truly the biggest baby in the world. He may look intimidating at first glance, but he just wants love, fun, and a cozy home to call his own. Home Life: Cruz has transitioned into home life so well! He’s not a fan of crates—he gets anxious—so he sleeps on the floor (though he did chew up his bed!). Potty training is a work in progress, but he’s starting to catch on with consistency and patience. If you’re looking for a big-hearted, one and a half year-old, 74 lb buddy who just wants to love and be loved, Cruz is your guy. He is available for Foster and/or adoption.
