My story

Hi, I’m Seras, the gentler, quieter sister in this duo. I’m a beautiful black-and-tan Coonhound girl with soft eyes and an even softer heart. While my sister Sally is full steam ahead, I take a more thoughtful approach to things—I’m still playful and loving, just a bit more reserved.When Sally was sick with Parvo, I stayed by her side and comforted her. Now we both love to play, cuddle, and follow our foster around like true velcro dogs. I get super excited for mealtimes (yum!), and I’m learning to stay calm and patient—I’m working on not nibbling fingers when I get too happy!I’m about 95% housetrained and use puppy pads if it’s raining. I haven’t mastered the dog door yet, but the back door stays cracked so I can come and go when I need to. I love playing with toys—especially my yellow squeaky duck—and I’ll gladly roll over for belly rubs that put me right to sleep.Thunderstorms and fireworks? I was a little unsure at first, but when I saw my foster and sister weren’t worried, I found my courage and joined them outside. I’m getting braver every day!I sleep in my crate at night and only make a peep if I need something. I’ve met other dogs, cats, and kids, and I’ve done great with all of them. I’m affectionate, loyal, and full of love—I may not always be the first to act, but I’m always by your side.If you’re looking for a calm, sweet companion who just wants to love and be loved, I’d be honored to be your girl.My adoption fee of $100 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5.
