My story

Name: Beeba Breeds: German Shepherd Age: Senior Sex: Female Size: Large Beeba is an 8 years young German Shepherd surrendered to a local impound due to her owners changing circumstances making it unable to keep her. They loved her so deeply and it shows in her incredible temperament and outstanding manners. She is a polite girl, past the puppy stages where she would ever dream of destroying your things, and has impeccable house manners. She is housetrained and crates well if her owner prefers to do so but she is excellent if left loose too. She knows basic commands and tricks even! Beeba is good with other dogs but doesn't really engage with them. She's not unfriendly in the slightest, just would far rather follow her people around and play fetch with her ball than engage in any shenanigans with other pooches. She would be fine in a home as an only dog or with another dog who is happy for a companion but ok if that companion isn't a playmate. Beeba cannot be placed in a home with cats or small animals. Beeba absolutely lives to play fetch. You will fine her most of the time with a ball in her mouth carrying it around and waiting for someone to throw it for her. We have tried to tell her that it would get thrown a lot more if she dropped it for us to throw but she thinks that sounds suspicious and she is not going to drop her ball on the ground thank you very much. I mean what if she drops it and some gopher burrows up and takes it? Unlikely maybe but she is not taking that risk. You are welcome to take it from her mouth though, she doesn't mind! Beeba is fostered with a toddler and does very well though she definitely gravitates towards adult vs kiddo shenanigans. What can she say, she's not a shenanigans girly. Beeba is not suitable for a home with shared walls since she has that typical loud shepherd bark when she hears someone outside or someone comes over. She is all bark and once they're inside, she's happy to greet them and show them her ball. Beeba is the perfect blend of being trained and settled while still having the spunk to for walks, fetch, swimming, and anything her humans want to include her in. Requirements: No cats Adoption Fee: $400 + tax.
