My story

Meet Dakota!Dakota is an eight-year-old, 49-pound Terrier Mix. She was surrendered to the shelter because her owners didn`t keep up with her allergy medications. She has hair loss, and her skin shows the years of suffering from her allergies. Her skin condition is not contagious. Her allergies are manageable with daily allergy pills. She is heartworm-negative, spayed, current on all her vaccinations, and house and crate trained. She is very loving and gentle. She does like treats, walks, and car rides. She gets along with other dogs. She does not jump up on furniture. She will spend most of her time snuggled on a blanket or dog bed in whatever room her human occupies.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt.
